Joined Material Management Team of ONE-SAP Project at Engro Corp as Warehouse & Inventory Management Consultant.
Zambeel Stores is fastest growing ecommerce company; it is operating online business and having customers in all over the Pakistan. I have been assigned the responsibilities of business process development, and support organization by bringing efficiencies and productivity in all areas, specially sale, quality assurance, inventory management, procurement, digital marketing & logistics.
I worked closely with management & all departments; and took lead of data science & effective operation of all business processes. I developed data modules, interactive reports, dynamic data visualization & dashboards for various business day to day requirements.
I interacted & used variuos IT & Business Application during this role, which include (Facebook Business Application, various Courier Portal, Google Drive, Google Spreadsheet, Google Data Studio, Advance Excel).
Supervise Material Warehouse operations & manage inventory approx 18000 Stock Keep Unit (SKU) worth USD20Mn, these SKU include spares, consumables, packaging & chemicals and lead SAP Systems. During my tenure, following key role been part of my job:
- Ensure material availability to meet the plant needs, development of MRP parameters, evaluate bulk orders requirements for consumables, order & ensure timely delivery & followup up
- Coordinate/plan material requirement for plant shutdown activity, do requirement analysis based on history/ available inventory
- Introduced vendor managed inventory and successfully implemented
- Responsible of lending & borrowing material with other organization and follow up monthly for settlement
- Responsible of physical audit activity, execute audit, compile results, prepare of reports & summaries, complete post audit actions
- Coordinate and report various data requirements to finance, planning & procurement, also develop various data analysis on need basis
- Responsible of upkeep of warehouse storages, ensure housekeeping and 5S standards
- Responsible of update warehouse manual
- Successfully implementation of SAP system, played vital role during project. Responsible of data migration from legacy system, realignment of parameters based on new system, development of data uploads, develop processes according to SAP, development of user manuals and people training, continues support to warehouse members and plant users, supported SAP reporting and data integration/ updates. Achieved “Excellence Award” on best performance / efforts in successful implementation of SAP project”.
- Responsible of plant regular scrap and waste management, coordination and administrate timely lifting of scrap & waste at site, ensure housekeeping upkeep, prepare invoices and waste details, intimate information to finance/ environment section for their record
Business & Economics Section supports plant management in business planning & help management for timely decision by reporting financial numbers & plant performance data. B&E Engineer & Assistant B&E Officer work together and report plant manager, and my role to assist B&E Engineer in day to day activities. My routine activities includes:
- Compile daily plant data from log sheets and develop plant query sheets which generate plant data like gas consumption of gas turbine, steam turbine, production numbers of ammonia plants, urea plants, shipment numbers, power & steam generation data, utilities data, plant load data and many more parameters recorded in order to compute various results for management.
- Prepare daily executive summary and issue it through email for management communication, which include plant production & efficiency data and important issues.
- Support in preparation of budget planning, which include compilation of departmental budget and prepare consolidate budget for all site and generate summaries. It is also reconciled & finalized after management review and final numbers are distributed accordingly within departmental budget based on management decisions & submitted with Finance & Accounts for approval.
- Support in preparation of CAPEX budget, compile consolidate requirement for management review and finalized report submitted to F&A for further approval.
- Support managers with salary & wages budget planning
- Support in preparation of quarterly stewardship, which require data of capex & opex utilization numbers, plant production & efficiency data, consolidate presentations of all departments for management review.
- Responsible to compile gas consumptions based on plant query data and generate feed stock and utilities consumption, reconcile all numbers and finalize the gas bills with Mari Gas & OGDL for billing on every fortnightly.
Served as department secretary to multiple department managers simultaneously, department managers include (Production Manager, Maintenance Manager & Technical Manager). My job role to support all managers in their day to day requirements and secretarial activities like attend telephone calls, handle daily mail, arrange appointments & meetings, arrange travels, prepare claims, issue notices, support in preparation of proposals / presentations/ reports, / budget planning, appraisal of their teams, development of manning record, organizational chart and etc. I also ensure record keeping of documents & important files.
Served as Confidential Assistant to Resident Manager, who is head of all departments of administration at plant site, which include (Admin, HR, Civil, Horticulture, Plant Clinic, Public Relations and Social Projects, Management Club).
I provided support in secretarial tasks, handle telephone calls, attend visitors, manage daily mail documents, arrange appointments / meetings / events & travels, issue office notices & document distribution memos, ensure documents record & filing.
I also provided support in development of documentations, reports & presentations for various requirements, like budget planning & proposals, HR meeting proposals, security related communications, social projects proposals & progress etc.
Arbico sells custom built computers online on Ebay, I started as a PC Assembling Technician & my job role was to build computer barebones based on customized specification, ensure software testing and make package ready for shipment which include packaging of computers in bubble wrap, printing of shipment labels & make consignment ready for shipment.
Addition to above, I take care of stock taking of computer parts and communicate on day to day basis, ensure timely warranty claims with suppliers & customers, attend customer calls after post-sale quires and technical support, and perform other general administrative tasks like workshop upkeep, bank cheques deposits etc.
Supported IT department as help desk technician, Engro plant site consist around 300 users in different department and all connected to local area network and along with internet access through proxy server. Main responsibilities to attend user’s calls and visit them for timely support on day to day software, hardware & network related issues.
Job role include activities like (attend user queries, resolve day to day issues, installation of operating systems, network clients & other business applications along with drivers & network configuration, support in data backup, setting up of printers, plotters, scanners & other hardware i.e. RAM/ Storage & Power Supply etc., also provide support in setting up network equipment (hub, switches, network printers etc), cable installation, maintain record of IT assets.
